Why the name change? Steve and I started MiniMotion in 1999
and
enjoyed many years of creating custom miniature animatronics, teaching
classes, and going to shows. As the years passed, however, Steve
began to move away from wanting to make miniatures, as he wanted to
devote more time to
his many other electronics projects. I also wanted to devote more
time to the things I used to do before I made the miniatures industry
my career. In 2005 we moved to New Mexico and bought our house on
Meadow Lane, hence the name of the "new" business venture.
Not to worry my mini friends, I will still be creating miniatures,
and am still accepting limited commissions for miniature projects, I'm
just adding and developing more projects in other areas as well.
Steve and I also still have a few animated minis in the works, but are
not accepting any new commissions for miniature animatronics at this
time.
