January 2010 Happy New Year all! 2009 was an exciting year for us! Our youngest daughter got married, we got another perfect grandson (and I helped deliver him!!!). Our eldest grandson started school and is doing great! He read some books to me while I was there, and I'm so excited for all of the reading adventures to come. He is making plans to become a Dr.! The middle grandson is blossoming with the time he gets to spend alone with his Mom, Aunt, and Great Aunt. He got to spend some time having drawing and crafting fun with Nana too! He is quite the artist! We got a dog, and I'm training him to be a service dog! He is progressing very well with his trainging! We ended the year with a Caribbean cruise and time on the beach with some of our best buddies, then spent the holidays with the family. We've got lots of creative plans for 2010, and hope we will have time to accomplish at least some of them! No news on when the new packages of Creative Paperclay© will be hitting the shelves, but thanks for all the nice comments you've sent about my sculptures. To answer the most widely asked question; No, they are not 1:12 scale sculptures. I made them specifically for the package design - the "old man" is about 6" tall and the horse is about 5" tall.
